Two great things about this Edward Zwick "idealist" movie: showed off Meg Ryan true colors as an extremely overrated actress; and made Matt Damon showcase his method acting - lost almost twenty kilos for this role -, launching him to stardom. Can't look at Bronson Pinchot and not think of Serge: what a cruel french sentence to his career. PTSD Denzel was a must, as expected.
