Politics became tribal and loyalty to the orange meathead mattered more than expertise or professionalism. This story is a good example of it. Trump and his Trumpets are above the law and, sadly, I bet American politics will never fully return to the pre-2016 tone.

Ficam melhor servidos com o artigo da bicycling.com sobre o mesmo do que com esta hora e meia de documentário, mas ainda assim é visualização obrigatória para qualquer adepto do desporto de duas rodas como eu. Vilão ou vítima de um sistema corrupto, Pantani subiu como poucos, caiu como muitos; o preço da glória numa época "negra" da UCI.

Brad Pitt isn't as charismatic and riveting as Tom Cruise and a Formula One car - at least nowadays - is not as exciting and dangerous as a F-14 Tomcat. Damson Idris is not convincing as Iceman and Kerry Condon is a cheaper and less talented version of Rebecca Ferguson. What's most impressive about it is that Brad Pitt, 61 (!), still manages to play a early 40s character convincingly.

Quase tudo o que envolve directamente a personagem do Mads Mikkelsen convence de forma sóbria - até aquelas mãos de Thanos a controlar um tiroteio num armazém; o plot em torno da órfã da Vanessa Hudgens é meio forçado e óbvio na reviravolta, mas não estraga nada por ai além; já tudo o que mete o arqui-vilão gordo, careca e pateta do Matt Lucas e a sua "crew" é de uma banalidade atroz, trabalhada de forma narrativa e visual para ser o mais ridícula e palerma possível. Não é Polar, é bipolar nesta abordagem, nesta mistura de tons, do preto escuro com o arco-íris. Oportunidade perdida.

Não faz qualquer sentido numa perspectiva de continuidade das partes anteriores que este terceiro capítulo intitulado "O Poder Popular" recue novamente para os meses anteriores ao golpe militar, quando a segunda parte termina nesse mesmo momento. O que qualquer espectador pretenderia seria testemunhar o aftermath, as consequências do golpe, as perseguições políticas, as alterações profundas na sociedade. Não, voltamos atrás aos cordões industriais, às greves "furadas", aos motivos e às razões para a revolução. Foi voltar aos preliminares depois do coito, em vez do cigarrinho. Não funcionou.
