"
The Woman in Red" feels hopelessly dated and mostly unfunny, particularly in the cringe-inducing Charles Grodin blind scenes. It's Gene Wilder's clear attempt at a French-style sex farce with clumsy pacing, a weak script and some really poor editing that leaves subplots dangling. A scattershot sequence of awkward vignettes wrapped around a flimsy premise, rescued only by Kelly LeBrock’s breathtaking presence in her debut.
