According to Steven Berkoff, Stallone gave up on being Axel Foley because he got mad about the orange juice that was served in his trailer. Sounds a little bit far-fetched, but thank God Eddie Murphy ended up with the role. Ordinary crime story, but larger than life character built by Murphy improvisation skills - legend has it hundreds of takes were ruined by crew members laughing during shooting. Loved Serge and really happy that he will be coming back in this year's Netflix sequel.
