Chris Smith’s "
Mr. McMahon" peels back the shady curtain of the wrestling world to reveal the grotesque figure pulling the strings. And it’s not pretty: Vince McMahon emerges as a vile, manipulative tyrant who exploited wrestlers, blurred the lines between cruelty and spectacle, and wielded his empire with the ruthlessness of a dictator drunk on power. The documentary six episode series doesn’t just chronicle his rise; it exposes a legacy of scandal, exploitation and moral bankruptcy that makes it really, really hard to separate the man from the hideous character he created. And, by the time it was made, we didn't know half of it.
