Fernando Alle’s gloriously gross little splatterfest. Just like if David Cronenberg got drunk as a teenage and decided to teach puberty as a horror-comedy short. An innocent helpless boy at school whose ugly zit becomes a ticking time bomb, erupting in a geyser of pus that transforms another regular day into a bloody massacre. Didn't enjoy those three young a-holes acting nor understood the need for the "gun" scene - Alle could manage another original darkly funnier death -, but I'll take an Alle movie, short or long, anytime. Coming-of-age Azorean lessons about testosterone and virility; take that, you bullies!
