Samurai Cop” is the kind of cinematic trainwreck that makes me love bad movies so much. Maybe even more than the good ones! With wooden line delivery by almost every character, the entire movie is a parade of unintentional brilliance. The acting is so catastrophically bad it loops back around to being hypnotically entertaining, with gratuitous sex scenes that pop up as randomly as the villain’s evil one liners and Mathew Karedas impressive naked ass. That's some really hard ass. As a whole, it deserves to be studied in acting schools... but as a warning of what not to do in almost every scene. By the end, I genuinely couldn’t tell if I’d witnessed a masterpiece of accidental comedy or a total cinematic disaster; but I had an absolute blast either way. Two stars... with a HEART!
