Nightmare on Elm Street" imitation. The Super-8 dream look is ok but the movie drags on for the first full hour, repeating information and relying on weak jump scares, random gore and clumsy Stranger Thingsesque style emotion for the rest of it. Let's avoid a trilogy, ok? PS: It took me three days to finish the first act, as I kept on falling asleep on the sofa. Boring as hell. Or ice, I suppose.
