"Strangely, the gimmick of Mike's perfect memory doesn't come up too often. He uses his memory to get out of a couple of sticky situations, but mostly the plot moves on problem solving and personal relationships. Also, when it comes to the law, Harvey really is every bit as smart (possibly even smarter) than his genius protege. It's refreshing. So often on TV -- shows like Psych, House and White Collar come immediately to mind -- the hero bests everyone using his unique skills. Everyone else just tries to keep up. In Suits, everybody is running at the same speed: lawyers outwit the opposition, the paralegal performs key research and even the secretary cracks the best jokes. Although Suits has its serious moments, the two leads' banter and the interactions between all of the characters keep the tone light and the pace quick. The result is an excellent summer show and -- more than that -- a truly high-quality piece of television." (BuddyTV)

Ó Knox, melhor nova série? Suits é uma série porreira... de Verão! É engraçada e o Harvey é um bom personagem, mas é uma série leve (daí a referência que fiz ao Verão). O problema de algum deste pessoal do cinema é que se contenta com pouco e depois têm a lata de dizer que a TV é um parente pobre... Alarga os teus horizontes, pá. Procura aí uma coisa chamada Homeland ou outra chamada Boss ou outra chamada Game of Thrones, essas sim séries a sério (e isto só das novas, porque o que não faltam de certeza aí na tua tvteca são coisas como Breaking Bad ou Justified, somente duas das melhores séries da actualidade).
Mas pronto, se calhar estou a exigir de mais. Afinal, tu és o homem que preferiu Covert Affairs a Rubicon.

Começo a achar que só chegam séries "light" aí ao meio do Atlântico... :P
Este pessoal da TV é muito hardcore! Das que vi - e só posso falar dessas - Suits foi de longe a minha nova série favorita. De longe. Além disso, as outras são faladas e referenciadas em todo o lado, esta não. É uma espécie de prémio de consolação!
