Annette Bening braless tities are just a thing of beauty and Anjelica Huston is an amazing actress. Other than that, it's a waste of time, a script that looses itself along the way to several brainless and random acts of every character, even the secondary ones. The ending is so abrupt and pointless that i wonder if they had even finished the script before shooting began - i know they did, it's based on a book, but anyway. John Cusack doesn't rhyme with film noir, nor does Stephen Frears.
