I actually think Spielberg managed to capture the true spirit of Hergé: the adventure, the humor, the visual energy, the frenetic pacing of how all the small stories around Tintin develop in the comic books, even if all the action made the movie become kind of weightless as it got closer and closer to its end. But what makes me really happy is to check that, a decade later, motion-capture movies as an art/technology did not triumph. Beowulf(raid) of Avatar still.
