Curse of Chucky (2013)

"Twenty five years. Since then a lot of families have come and gone; the Barclays, the Kincaids, the Tillys. But you know Nica, your family was always my favorite. And now, you're the last one standing... So to speak!". Nasty black laugh I had here, I confess. It was an interesting new life for an old franchise, accepted and welcomed by a vast majority of Chucky admirers, but having seen now both Curse and Cult directed by none other than creator Don Mancini himself, I'll still stick for the previous five as much better and funnier movies than these last two. They were campy, they were rude, they were proudly rough... and they tried to have some logical character reactions - Katherine Heigl in "Bride of Chucky", for example. This one, storywise, is just a little bit too much idiot. Hidden cameras, everything recorded but... none of that matters to the police and to the judge? Alrightyyyy then!
