No one can deny "
Drop Zone" has some entertainment value and some competent technical aspects: several thrilling skydiving sequences that allow the cinematography to shine a little bit. Big fan of nineties Wesley Snipes, but not of his U.S. Marshal Pete Nessip here: no charisma, no depth, no fun. One-dimensional Gary Busey is still silly Gary Busey, so can't complain about the villain. Predictable plot, nowhere close to match the groove between Sheen, Kinski and Gandolfini in "
Terminal Velocity".
