Meryl Streep gives a strong performance as the lead character, a skilled rafter and determined mother who must use her expertise and resourcefulness to protect her family from assholes Kevin Bacon and John C. Reilly. Well-crafted action scenes, breathtaking scenic locations, one-dimensional villains and somewhat predictable plot. Love David Strathairn!
